If it's the truth, Judge Judy says it's not slander. Maybe markealy can get a job at Marten, and have a major screwup. Then he (or she, as it may be) will see for theyselves if the letters appear.

You guys wonder why Randy would send out letters??? This is one of those reasons!!!!
Trailer was loaded with 43,100 pounds of medical equipment in North Carolina that was supposed to go to Missouri. Problem is,someone holed the trailer and knocked a cross member loose, immediately rendering the trailer OOS!! The load had to be switched to a replacement trailer-which I had to wait for about 14 HOURS!! The shipper checked their camera surveillance equipment (24 hour round the clock surveillance on their property)and it verified that trailer was brought in like that so whoever brought the trailer like that and DIDN’T REPORT the damage to Road Service like they were supposed to will have some explaining to do!! And given that on every load we pickup and dropoff/unload we have to put in the trailer number(not to mention the telemetry satellite tracking equipment)the company WILL KNOW which truck brought that trailer in!
The company will also have to pay me maximum detention pay because I had to wait for the load to be switched between trailers(after 8 hours max detention pay is $160.00). The damage was such that I could actually move the cross member with my bare hand!!
Some drivers may think this is a little issue, but sometimes “little issues” can have big consequences-especially in our line of work!Last edited: Jan 9, 2021

I’m still scratching my head on that one. -
Could not pay me ANY amount of money to drive for a mega junk hauler outfit. For six years I dealt with that nonsense at Schneider. 90% of the time it was holes in the ceiling and flat tires. Took another wasted year or so at the tragedy known as Knight to realize that I couldn’t decide who annoyed me more, lazy uncaring coworkers, the employer, or the customers themselves. Finally wised up and started pulling tanks eight years ago. Night and day difference in every aspect of the job. Customers, usually smaller oil distributors in my case, become like family over time.
Speed_Drums, rachi, mjd4277 and 3 others Thank this. -
