If you don't run your own numbers, you do what your boss tells you to do, or you find another place to work. They got no choice but to bend over and take it if they want to stay there. But ####, what a stupid stupid thing to do.

The mask detection part of it is stupid- the part of the story that concerns me is that they’ve added a live streaming feature so they can “ride along with the driver at anytime”, virtually. This feature was added due to covid of course. Using covid to make the nanny cams even more intrusive.

Lets pretend that you're the owner of a company with a lucrative contract and everyone is making good money... lets pretend that the company you contract with decides that the drivers at all times will wear bunny ears on their heads the entire time... Lets also say that if the company will terminate the contract for anyone on duty is caught not wearing the bunny ears.. the only way to make sure the drivers are wearing said bunny ears is a camera to keep everyone employed... You'd be the one installing the cameras.

So if you run teams you must wear a mask at all times, but you sleep in the same bunk and everything you touch inside and outside of the truck has been touched by the other driver…interesting:D

Just because you're a "Yes man" doesn't mean everyone else is.

I don’t care how much any driving job pays, the day I'm told my truck will have a camera looking at me, will be my last day.
