He has said previously that he will, although his own economic advisers are telling him not to. I'm guessing China will twist his arm and they'll be dropped very soon.

No, just speculating why there are so many container ships backed up off the SoCal coast and why truck capacity has increased causing rates to fall. Nobody is debating politics, but rather how political events impact our lively hood.

Mostly loaded 1 way and empty the other. Few trips loaded both ways. 7.8mpg the other week behaving myself at 65mph. Honestly didn't expect that on winter blend

I've been out of the truck for about a month now. I'm getting comfortable with it. One of my other local side gigs is starting to pick up steam. Who knows, I might just decide to sell my truck, trailer & MC and never go back to trucking ;-)

I agree with this, but will say that rates definitely seem to be dropping. I believe there is less freight in the market (there almost always is this time of year), but I could see less trucks being on the road with the new stimulus package.

How is your wife holding up? Is she getting comfortable with it or ready to kick your butt back out to the sleeper? :)

Yeah, I agree even in my area today we’re starting to feel it for the first time in any significant way. It’s been pedal to the metal for so long that even a little bit of lack of freight feels strange though.

That’s cool that you have something going on the side other than trucking.
