How is it working for fedex. What are things you like about the company and things that you don’t like. How does the company treat you as one of their drivers.

I don't drive for them, but you will want to specify whether you mean FedEx ground or FedEx freight. They are two completely different companies.

Ground drivers typically do not work directly for FedEx. They work for contractors that are signed on with them. Pay and bennies can vary widely between these contractors.

The company they use to check you out is goofy. Might check out or not? With me. They kept saying they couldn’t verify employment here and there. Require more info. I’d call the company. They’d say: What’s the problem?

Came up behind a FedEx truck yesterday with smoke rolling from the trailer. Got up next to him and one of his tandems was locked up and he didn't have a clue. Got up next to him and honked, then pointed back. How does a driver not look in their mirrors and see smoke?

I had a brilliant Prime driver notify me of smoke under the back of my truck.
I had been running down a long 6% grade in Utah. Using my engine brake the whole time. Hardly using my brakes but a little. You always get some smoke out the exhaust with engine brake. Poor Prime driver hadn’t figured out my exhaust is out the bottom of my truck.

At least he was trying to help another driver out. That’s pretty rare these days.
