Accelerated Vs. Supreme

We refused to go the Central Dispatch route, Ready and Cars Arrive were bad enough, so as our direct clients faded off into the past we refocused our efforts. Victor opened up a repair shop and used car lot and I concentrated on my compliance consulting business. I have to say, the transition has been tough but we are both happier, and I enjoy not having a business partner any more. I miss some of my better clients and my fellow car haulers, but overall I don't miss the cut throat nature of the business and think I can do more good helping others learn from both my successes as well as my failures.

 

I saw a load for Accelerated on CD this afternoon. Smyrna Tn to Hartford CT for 3300. Crap rate right? In the details for the load they reveal it's actually 2 separate loads. Smyrna to Columbus OH then they'll load you from Toledo to Hartford Ct. You get 2 loads for the price if one. For comparison, I took what I thought was a cheap load 2 weeks ago from Toledo to Chicopee MA for $2800 . 6 units , one pick one drop. Needless to say, it wasn't for the Colorado rate crushers.

 

Thank goodness for regular direct customers!

 

They must be getting desperate being the end of the month and all.

 

Maybe they'll hook more fish by offering NO FEE COMCHEKs.

 

I'm with URS as a company driver, I make about 1400/weekly, thinking of doing lease purchase with supreme. Is it a good idea? Thanks in advance.
