I was rear-ended 17 months ago and my neck still hurts. When pain gets bad, it goes over my head and behind my eyes. When will this agony end? Anybody here who had similar problem with whiplash?

you may need an MRI or CT scan to see if you have any disc issues.

My neck has mild issues but multiple doctors say it is mild and everybody my age has them. They tell me to stay patient and it is muscular pain and has nothing to do with the discs. I am uploading my MRI here.

I met a neuro surgeon last week. He says the same thing that my discs are normal for my age. He said if my discs had issues, I would have pain, numbness, weakness and tingling in my arms and hands, which I don't.
    It is so frustrating

I had numbness in my left arm. Operated on C-6. Fixed it, but I have a limited turning radius.

But I have no numbness, pain, tingling and weakness in my arms and hands. I just have pain in my neck. My MRI shows minimal wear and tear like everybody else my age. It is so frustrating. If my discs had issues, then I would have symptoms. But I don't.

Looks like, and doctors say, that my pain is entirely muscular and has nothing to do with neck discs. But why is the pain and stiffness taking so long to go away? :(

Did you go to an orthopedic or a neurosurgeon?

Yes, I went to both. They check my reflexes, and arms and hands, and tell me that my spine is fine and send me to pain management doctor and physical therapist. Pain management doctor did trigger point injections and they didn't help. Physical therapist gave me exercizes which I do, and also did dry needling in my traps. My traps don't hurt anymore. Now the pain is in the neck only.

I'm going to get one of these detailed full body scans and sit down with a knowledgeable doctor and go over the condition of my innards.

    Neck, shoulders,hips intestines,liver, kidneys.
I want to see what's going on in there.
