I got a delivery in Torrance tomorrow and a pick-up in Wilmington on Wednesday morning. Would be willing to pay ~$30 for a secure overnight spot - better than driving all the way back out to Fontana TA and still having to pay anyway cuz all the free spots gonna be full...

Any ideas? Maybe one of those little gated lot things that are always around but hard to find on the internet?

That sort of thing turns up on Trucker Path from time to time. I found one in Columbus OH that was very good. Would never in a million years found it any other way.

I already looked through it. There is nothing in the area except for truck stops that have no parking at all, and one random shady street where it's legal to park but it's always full

truckdriver31 and Studebaker Hawk Thank this.

I did too after the topic came up. God Awful reviews and lots of misinformation. Maybe find a motel for $100 night with truck parking.
I feel for ya. Haven't been to Southern California since 2013. Don't miss it. Good luck.

There's half a dozen places I've delivered to around there where you can find a place to park, even though they aren't your actual customer.

It's not bad usually, I normally do same day in and out or at least end up overnighting in the Inland Empire, Fontana type of areas where I have plenty of secret spots. This is the first time I get stuck on the western side of the LA sprawl like that.

Oh yes, the old shoot-n-scoot. Park in the back of some rando warehouse and leave at 6 a.m. before the workers show up and start yelling at you.

Pro-tip – find one that has the for lease signs

Unfortunately down in South Central LA everything is gated at night
