Where do you shower?

2 weeks is about my limit without showering, not that I am dirty doing my everyday wash rag routine, it’s just that I have fairly thick medium length hair that could use a wash.

But that is mostly camping or sailing or occasionally being hung up at dairies for days.

But I try to grab a shower everyday , maybe twice if I am getting dirty and time permits

Plus a long hot shower is the most under rated luxury out there .

Most days my long day ended waiting in line at the dairy to get unloaded.

Either wash up in the cab before I jump into my clean bed while I wait for my knock , or fall asleep in my gaming chair and hope for a early night .

I have a kettle I heat water up in , wash cloth to wash my face and neck. Soap it up and hit my upper body and armpits.

Wash my legs and scrub the neither regions. Rinse and wring cloth , rewet and hit the feet heavy.

Grab my hand towel and repeat drying process.

Throw both wash cloth and hand towel in plastic grocery bag and store it for dirty laundry in the side box.

The secret to keeping your bedding clean is stay out of it or off it until you wash up.

I have to shower, DAILY - so hard for me to sleep otherwise.

Only time I don't shower is when I wake up at noon, don't do anything and go bed 8-9 ish.

I know none of you will hardly ever make out this way but Wild Bison in between Williston, ND and Watford City, ND has an amazing shower.

I shower at home daily, but..

Like most are saying that for the most part you get 'free' showers with the purchase of fuel. Most places are 50 gallons, but I know of at least one that is 75 gallons (Bolingbrook, Il unless it changed.) Also most terminals of at least the larger fleets tend to have showers. The Ohio turnpike has free showers, that at least last time I used one was kept fairly clean.

 

The golden ones you will normally have to pay cash.
