Anyone ever use TUNE MY TRUCKS or DIESEL SPEC INC for an aftermarket tune?

I've seen and used Diesel Spec's work in a Series 60. It's ok but it's power only. They turn up the fuel a little bit and send you on your way. I asked about getting the rpm turned up and doing a multi stage tune and they just stared at me like I had 3 heads. You won't hurt your engine with a Diesel Spec tune but don't expect an increase in fuel economy
650cat425 Thanks this. -
When I did the inframe we left all the extras off. Looks like a real engine.
They made us install 90km/hr decals. Mine didn't get one. No apostrophe. I will not tell lies. -

A few of the megas have decided to go above and beyond and leave em on all the time. -

Just because ya have it doesn't mean ya get to use it with reckless abandon. It's our oldest highest mile bus, which is why I drive it.
Our driver that had it before had a big ole set of lead pumps. Never skipped a beat.
It's an allison 2500pts. Tough. When they do break its always the reaction carrier hub that snaps. Everything else always look like new.
The trans temps dropped 30F after tuning. That doc and dpf beside it passed on a lot of heatLast edited: Jan 30, 2021
