Hello,
I have some questions regarding Volvos. Also, lets keep this a Volvo thread only please. I notice their gauge package is limited to 12 gauges with the optional tranny temps located by the switches for 5th wheel slide, etc.. Is their any way to add more gauges? Also, what are the weights for the VNL670 and VNL780 models. Finally, does anyone have experience with the new D13 engine.

you could buy autometer gauges for whatever the truck doesn't have

Thats because all their "gauges" are displayed on the computer screen in the dash.

As far as the new volvo engines, don't bother. I work at a local Volvo dealership and these new engines don't stay out of the shop. Yesterday, I had one truck that I was putting his FOURTH turbo on in less than 100,000 miles. You would think something else is causing this, but it was just the turbo seizing up. These D13's especially have injector sleeves that we put in about every 50,000 miles. When its cold outside and you first start them up, you'll think they're about to fly apart they rattle so much.
Unless you like down time, steer clear of the Volvo's.david07003 Thanks this. -

Axles temps, trans temp, volts output, ambient air temp, air bag pressure per axle, there are a few more but I can not remember them offhand right now.
