That’s their headquarters... corporate is right there on the property..

 

Not trying to be a fanboy but days like today just reinforce the reasons why picking Millis 2 years ago to get started in trucking was the right decision.
My wife received what she thought was a scam call from someone trying to sell financial products and insurance. They dropped Millis and Heartlands name. My wife asked me to send a message in to see if they/it were legit.
Shockingly I get a message to call David Millis. David Millis asked for the persons contact information, I sent him the email that my wife received. Couple hours later David Millis gets back to me and tells me it’s all right just the old insurance company trying to sell extra life insurance to those employees who want it.

Quite blown away from the entire episode.

 

I know. I was being sarcastic.

 

9 hrs 45 minutes sitting in door today at Blues city.

 

Memphis is ridiculous.

 

Have you guys found a good place to get weighed down there? I've found a couple that aren't.

 

If just run up to where the pilots are or just discovered the loves down 78 I believe.

 

The pilot on the corner was pretty bad the time I used it. The AP wasn't working with their equipment, parking was tight and even getting out of the lot was a challenge. I'll try the smaller one next door if I end up headed that way again.

 

I forgot to mention that the last time I was there I had an unload at Midwest and a reload at Blue City. Almost 9 hours at Midwest and over 4 hours at Blue City. 13 hours to unload and reload which included 5 minutes of driving between places and 30 minutes of checking in/out.
