Bull haulers/Cattle haulers doing 80-90mph

I ran many a superload into places like Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah and the Texas panhandle. IMO, this side of BusterBrown, there isn’t a more professional group out there than the old school cowpimps. On the 2 lane, they were courteous while driving at supernatural speeds.

 

That's funny.
When I was a young boy we were headed to Minnesota for Christmas in the family station wagon and dad pulled over in S.W. Kansas to tighten the luggage on top of the car, 1964.
Along comes a pig hauler on the 2 lane, half of them must have been relieving themselves because when dad come back into the car he was covered in yellow pi** and sh**
He was wearing a suit.
I'd never heard some of those words he was screaming...

 

The new breeders have no idea what that means !

 

I run a regular route and pass the same cattle pot every week or so. He is MTY when I pass him and I doubt if he were going the other way loaded I would pass him.

 

Ironic this pops up on my suggested feed on youtube tonight...

 

There's a DOT guy in Cabool Mo that isn't afraid to get the creeper out with a loaded cow truck. I got the ticket to prove it that night too. The scales on 70 @Foristell Mo have signs with phone numbers of people who will come get your load if you are put oos.

 

Oh, there’s more than just one, the Canadians at the shared MT/AB scale in Coutts can be particularly **nty, as well.

But on average, our experience is that they pick on us more when empty. And we don’t even smell bad. .

 

Boy that brings back some memories right there... Man I miss being able to step out and run like that.

 

Sounds like someones got a racket going on right there...
