Made my drop in Conover NC today... heading to Sumter NC now and then off to Broken Bow... I’ll bump my 70 before getting there but it’s been a very good run since Monday when I reset... even swung by the house on the way from FL to NC.

    for those dealing with weather...
    stay safe... drive smart
(well, I guess that’s for everyone everyday)

You were blessed to find a spot there. That place is always crammed.

Dropped at menards in Plano, Illinois. Originally they had me picking up a load Franklin Park, Illinois but my HOS we’re going to tight to make the pick up so they took that off of me. Instead tomorrow morning I will pick up in West Chicago, Illinois going to Shelby, Iowa for a drop. From there I will bounce over to Lincoln and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Ellabell, Georgia for Tuesday morning.

It’s a good reality check for all of us... It can easily and quickly happen... to any of us... unfortunate when it happens but if it can serve as a reminder then maybe we can avoid it from happening again... or it pops into our heads when we are facing similar environments.

Not humiliation... I’m glad to see real examples, even if they do touch close to home.

and glad no one was seriously hurt

M22 rockcrusher and gntorres61 Thank this.

How’s it humiliating? They don’t name the driver, they are just trying use it as a learning tool. During the monthly safety meetings they post online they will show different clips from the cameras for the same reason.

    Loner2legs and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.
