Actually as an O/O you should try running at 60mph for a month or so with different loads and see if there is an improvement on your fuel mileage when compared to running at 65mph.
If you drive in California and/or Oregon you get used to setting the cruise at 60mph and watching the scenery instead of looking for the cops.
After awhile you get used to it and can make more money if you get a decent fuel surcharge.
What kind of fuel mileage are you getting running at 65mph??

 

Does Arrow Trucking have direct deposit? If so what company do they bank with?

 

They direct deposit to your fuel card which you then have to move money to your bank account. Take your voided check to orientation with you. Before you go with Arrow, you would do good to read all of the Arrow threads, and all of the other websites that go into detail about Arrow's practices, equipment, miles and freight available.

I would bet my left walnut that you will regret your decision within three months of starting there.

Oh, and take plenty of money to buy your own bungee cords, winch bar, and 2" straps if you need some (you will). Oh yeah, and dont forget to buy plenty of cleaning gear at the local Family Dollar to clean your truck when you get it..... unless you like all the trash, cigarette butts, fingernails, socks, hair, and whatever is spilled all over the floor. They do not clean the trucks before assigning them to a new driver.

Thats funny I now the family dollar he is talking about. I started at arrow back in october and quit after a month. The have p.o.s equipment. I had a 2005 freightliner mid roof. Truck #5000. When i got assigned that truck there was broken glass in it everywhere from them replacing the windshield. There was sun flower seeds every where and worse of all in one of the storage compartments there was a big bottle of piss from the last driver. I had to go right to that family doller to by some cleaning ####. They are a joke of a company. They pay ok if ur truck is still running. P.S if you make the mistake to go to arrow like i did and get assigned Greg harris as your dm i would tell them to get ##########. He is a P.O.S and will make life miserable for you.

They are your worst nightmare hometime whats that drop your trailer another driver needs it FM hangs up on you waited 2 weeks for a truck that went 61 mph hope you like to tarp every load will tarp who said flatbed has better hours you will deliver at 0300 what a lousy company I could be on here for an hour RUN RUN RUN your life depends on it

 

The tarps they give you r a joke also. they gave me 3 crappy tarps that all had to be patched. They had a whole wall of new ones but they said we couldnt have them. they gave me a can of rubber cement and some patches and said go to town. I spent like 2 hours in the tulsa terminal parking lot patching my ###### tarps. Ya 120nat there hometime sucks. 7 weeks out and 7 days off. thats a joke i cant afford to take 7 straight days off and i dont want to be out 7 weeks either
