Texas looks like a huge ****show today

I-45 sucks

I drove from dfw tonight and stopped at the pilot in Huntsville, tx . About an hour north of Houston.

Snow covered roads the whole way, can’t see the lane except for previous tire tracks. Pilot parking lot snow covered.

I used to work out of Fargo, so I’m not unused to this, but surprising to see it this way this far South.

The problem in Texas is the DOT plan is wait until the sun comes out.

 

Hard to spend that money on sand and salt when you're pretending to spend it on road construction.

 

Everyone stayed off the roads this time!lol
Lesson learned!

 

Many folks are without power too..wont have power till tomorrow at the earliest too..
