In a year or so I have an opportunity to deliver bounce houses driving a medium sized isuzu box truck... what's the process of loading and unloading the bounce houses? Is it similar to p&d delivery? I got told that I will be paid $10 to $13/hr and work about 40 to 70hrs per week depending on weather and the orders...
What's it like to deliver bounce houses? How is the process of loading and unloading the truck?

Deliver set up. Take down after birthday party. Pay sucks.
LoneRanger, Western flyer, NorthEastTrucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
you will start early in the mornings, load up your truck, being careful NOT to rip the bounce house. you will deliver it to the customer, entering the backyard which ever way they tell you.
you will set up the bounce house, make sure the air compressor is working, secure the bounce house to the ground. then leave.
either go back later or a day or two later, take it all down. making sure no lost shoes, sneakers, clothing of toddlers are in there.
otherwise, you get charged with kidnapping and being a pedophile...Texas_hwy_287, Western flyer, BoxCarKidd and 2 others Thank this. -

There are plenty of p&d jobs that pay better with more reasonable hours earning over $1000/week.

PITA job , i had a few inflatables on a tour i did , it takes hours to deflate , you need to roll it up on a slip sheet to keep it clean.
If it gets wet it will mold and rot when you roll it up.
I made 75k a year and that was still not enough to deal with them.
Id haul porta johns before that.Texas_hwy_287 and austinmike Thank this. -
