If your only purpose here is discouraging people you might consider finding another forum.
I've read every one of your posts. You go out of your way to be argumentative and disparaging.
You're right, your time here is limited.

Cutting straps. I have a chop saw with a carbide cutting wheel on it. Set a mitre box on the table, then stack a bunch of strap in the box. Then cut with wheel. It does not cut so much as melt it’s way through. Leaves a nice clean edge and won’t fray.

Might want to post a picture of how youve got that set up. running a toothed saw at a strap is a fast way to donate blood and destroy a tool in the process.

(Not disagreeing with results, im just not picturing how youre doing it)

Wheel vs toothed blade makes the difference.

That’s what I’ve seen Profesional rigging shops use to make custom straps.

2002B163-A399-4CDA-9088-0CDEC52A3B5A.png Box cutter works just fine also. Then singe the ends so they don’t unravel.

Thats why I carry 2 winch bars one is fat and the other one fits inside it for extra leverage...

Anybody here ever seen a driver use a rope ladder to climb loads? I usually find an easy enough way to get ontop of my loads without a ladder, except for lumber loads. I typically have to throw cross straps on the front to climb up but I can never get my feet back on them coming down so have to jump all the way down on my catwalk. I'm not afraid of heights, I'm just afraid of falling, so ladders are not my friends. Thinking of buying a "rope" ladder from Amazon that are marketed for fire escapes, and attaching it to a boat winch strap with a locking hook on the end and just throwing the boat strap over the load, locking it in a winch, and then climbing up the rope ladder.

    Talking about something like this:

Isop Extension Ladder 10 ft Made in USA | Nylon Rope Ladder with Spring Hooks - Lightweight, Durable, and Compact - Holds up to 460 lbs. | Emergency Escape Equipment - - Amazon.com
