Golf legend Tiger Woods was seriously injured Tuesday in a one-car accident in Southern California, officials said.

Woods' vehicle was going north on Hawthorne Boulevard at Blackhorse road, on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes, when it crashed and sustained "major damage," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.

Does his ex-wife have an alibi? With all the time off from his back issues, he might have missed an alimony payment or two.

And with back pain issues comes the over prescription of pain killers.
    What could possibly go wrong?

Nothing I've seen mentions him being intoxicated in any way. Road he wrecked is supposedly known for crashes. Speeding, rushing, etc not the best recipe for not wrecking. Article also mentioned someone seeing him take off like a bat out of hell.

Back to the sober thing...it was either, Fox or CNN that had an article that mentioned there was no blood test done at the hospital. Also said he had pins inserted into his ankle/leg. Broken bones, etc. He's not going to be playing golf again for awhile

That out of the way...let the bad puns....roll.

I wonder if he yelled "Fore!" prior to impact.

He should've used a driver. Not an iron..

He should work on his grip, so he doesn't lose control.

If he can travel for his recovery I recommend the golf coast. Lovely this time of the year.

A lion wouldn't cheat on his wife, but a Tiger Wood.

Saw an article that said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
