This was for an order we made for a cat back system for a camaro. Were not gonna remove cats just the mufflers after them to get a little sound and performance out of the exhaust note. S. O. P. for 99% of performance nuts!

God help us if you can’t buy that nice simple high lift camshaft for a small block chevy anymore.

Nos aftermarket parts may rise in price way too much for the average gearhead for sure.

I've wanted a mid-engine Corvair for a long time. While I really wanted a V-8 and am eagerly looking forward to him finishing his transverse installation, perhaps a twin-turbo V-6 would be in order.

 

That has always been very interesting front suspension. I’m glad to see you’ve kept it intact. Most restorations i’ve seen get hacked up with a 60’s style mustang front. The aluminum drums finish it off nice.

 

I’m hearing through the gearhead community grapevine that the tuner chip distributors started turning down sales this last week also. Some shops can’t get them any more.
Also rumors going around that undercover epa nazi’s might start visiting local tracks to see which cars get drivin in and drivin out on public roads for fines. Trailered cars of coarse would be exempt for being off road. But don’t roll coal or burn rubber out of the pit area in the “modified” tow vehicle.
I’m three and a half miles away from the San Antonio Raceway drag strip as the crow flies so we’ll see if this hampers business this year. I can hear the big motors run from my house when the air and breeze is just right. Love!
