I have a 2012 Volvo VNL 670, the shocks have less then 30k but i do haul containers. The drive shocks look dry like the one picture but the streer shocks look like that would you consider that leaking?

Sometimes shocks don't last that long. I think if you get 60,000 miles it's probably time to change them.

I had one that blew out with less than 10,000 miles on it.

Just change the leaky ones, you're lucky for getting 30k miles out of them while doing containers, those crane operators at the piers take their anger on driver's equipment by slaming the boxes on the chassis, that and also the steer axle is the first and the worst axle that takes a beating on bad roads and recessed bridges.

They are good so far ordered from oreillys (4) for 291$ And i bought the steers for 200 from a shop but i believe they are all the same so maybe you could just buy all 6

they are gas shocks? I heard gas shocks aren't good for commercial trucks but I can get monroes for dirt cheap through company maintenance, if they are halfway decent I'd just as soon change em out like underwear
