Hey y'all, I would greatly appreciate some advice. Before I discuss, I am about as mechanically inclined and can of green beans, but im learning so I'll put as much info as possible.

I've got a 2015 freightliner cascadia with a dd15. weeks ago, fuel got mixed in with the coolant and had the piston cups, and seals replaced, as well as had the reservoir and radiator flushed w more times after the mechanic did it since there were still particulates in the reservoir. The only coolant available was the green stuff, and I already plan on flushing and replacing it with the orange stuff when I'm done with this load.

Going up hills even with an empty trailer was handling like I was fully loaded and the exhaust sounded especially loud. Replaced the air filter and started getting a little more power, and it wasn't as loud, but still persists. It was really bad prior to changing the filter. The only other work I've had done was some electrical, when my entire cab lost power while I was driving. I can't recall what he replaced, but I got all be batteries d well. The only other issue that is ongoing is that there has been a secondary air leak, but its slow enough to stay filled when the truck is moving. I've had it fixed at least 6 times, and had the leveler valves replaced and can't find any leaks in the air bags. If the truck sits over night all of the air eventually leaks out. We haven't changed the fuel filter yet, but plan to the next few days. The oil pressure is at normal range and there are times when the water temp goes almost to 225 while I'm only pulling 8000 pounds and pretty much gets hot no matter the rpm or the speed and only up hill

I've read the other posts about this issue, and none of the sceneries applied to this issue. I take Appreciate everyone's help!

Fuel filters first. Loud exhaust? Maybe a leak? Maybe wastegate on turbo not operating properly? Sticking open too long? Hard to say. Need to check for turbo leaks. Charge air cooler may be leaking, or a hose. Can only guess at simple items visually seen. May need a diagnosis with computer. Maybe a problem with injector harness or settings, from recent work. Could be anything. Fuel filter first.

Partially clogged doc face. If everything ok with truck engine will clesr the doc face if you do 2-3 heavy loads.
You may have also dpf full of ash...

I'm sorry I didn't leave an update. I apologize and didn't mean to be rude. I have a number of cognitive issues that make it hard for me to commit things to long term memory and I get distracted very easily. We changed the fuel, air, and oil filters and that seemed to restore power for going up hills. THANK YOU for all your help and advice!

I don't know if your referring to the what the regen process accomplishes by burning the soot and ash, but we actually changed that porcelain filter, or had it cleaned by means of baking it (not sure if I'm explaining that correctly, but a shop did it for us.

The doc is located in front of dpf, inside of 1 box. Its not removable..
Regen will not clear clogged doc face. Doc face cleaning must be activated by DL. it may take up to 5 hours to complete.
