The trucking school I went to back in 2010 had the students get all trucking endorsements. That it included for tanks as well as doubles / triples. Not that we would use them, yet we had them should we want something other than van or skateboards.

Seriously, fighting the roadrage today. Every Dumb F with a cdl and weak truck must be on i40 fighting these hills and wind in my way. I can't begin to count the number of drivers where I've had to brake hard for some jackwagon swerving out into the left lane at 50-55 as I am passing at 70-75. Days like this I wish it was legal to off stupid people...

    Rant over...for now

Taking my 30, walking and trying to cool off at the rest area in Moriarty. I've dropped more F bombs today than a ship full of sailors in Port and told leave is cancelled.

You've had a rough week bud, hopefully it eases up some. You going to get home time soon.

My week hasn't been bad actually, other than my wife deciding to wreck, and rates dropping some. Hopefully I'll be taking hometime around 4/1, get an apartment for us, get her a vehicle, get a truck of my own instead of this rental, and still have 5 minutes to relax before I go back on the road. I don't plan on doing any long times out again for a while after this 1. Looking to start capping time at 3-4 weeks vs 2-3 months.

Break is over, time to go play with the idiots again.

    Dude. The OM. LMFAO

When we were coming up to those six trucks that had spun out, The OM is like, " You should put the chains on, that ice is pretty thick."
And I was like, " You're right, but if we stop be fore that grade, we're definitely not going to get going again unless we chain."

So I went for it and made it. That little grade is maybe 1/2 mile. Three more big trucks bit the dust, or gave up just over the crest that's where the 18 mile grade starts.

About 5 or 6 miles down there's another little up grade. steeper but shorter. But it's still heavy traffic, speed is less than 5 mph. Down grade is 4 to 6 percent.

So before that grade, bear is pushing this stuck mini van down the grade, in the hammer lane. Mini gets momentum, pulls in front of me.

The OM is like," We're going to F'd now, cause she's terrified and she's going to stop in front of us."
Bear stays next to her for like 3/4 mile, coaxing her along. No one is passing me, lots of head lights behind, couple trucks. I'm about 200 feet behind them.

We go up the grade which also sweeps left and slopes left. Mini mom keeps her mo up.
BUT, another DPS goes by me, cause there's some chic with a trailer ( toy / horse ) tangled up with some other dude with the same set up in the hammer lane / median at the top of the curve, just past the crest.

Only one car crashed / wiped out going up on the travel lane side up against the guard raile, and it's fairly buried on the upgrade.
    SO
The OM is like," Get over on the zipper."
We get nar the top and..........................traffic stops.
The OM is like," We're in some real pretty #### now aren't we?"
And I'm like," Well, if we start to jackknife, I'll put on some iron."
So we spun for second, grabbed, and got going.

Made it by the farmers, then had clear road the rest of the way down, about 10 miles, free of 4 wheelers for the most part.

Then The OM goes in the sleeper, puts on some Leppard, and then goes into growl.
