Right now I'd probably kill....err seriously maim the DOT officer you had. Finally tracked down a welder who can repair my door, no hinges to be found $125/hr. I know welders (good ones) cost, but I hope he brings some lube, because I'm getting fluxed.

Do you not carry an air hose, or were the DOT officers requiring a licensed mechanic?

 

They whooped up on me last week on 65 out of Alabama. I didn't see anyone get a clean inspection while I was there. Matter of fact everyone I talked to was oos for minor stuff. Lent a lot of tools and equipment the short time I was there.

 

Requires a signature of a mechanic.
But, no, I don't carry an air hose.

 

That station on 65 is almost 100% pull in. I don't think I've ever passed it.
But that's where I got my last level 1,and passed. With the same truck.
And that's what chapps me the most, its so subjective.
