I really need to do some work on the Truck. New floor, seats, door panels, dash work, radio. inverter, and make some shelves. Soon as it warms up, brakes, shocks, front end, fifth wheel, and all new air lines, brake chambers. Going to try to finally get everything done this year. Make it real nice.

That's a pretty good hitch. Been out 8 myself this run, and the fatigue is getting major. I figure I'll finish this week out, and probably run most of next week so end the hitch at about 9.5-10. Hell, my wife might get pregnant just from the way I'll be looking at her when I get there.

Does spending the weekend at home loaded count as days on the road or home time. I'm trying to figure out if I've been out 3 weeks or 4 days.

Fresh coffee made in the Truck! What a difference. All these years. I got into a habit when I started out running Short haul, of having just the bare necessities. Never wanted to really live in a Truck Always flying out of the house with a small bag or 2 of stuff, back in a few days, maybe a week.

Well, made it home last night, and upon waking up this morning was asked a mundane question,
    “What are you thinking about?”

    Now.
I actually wasn’t thinking about anything, as I just awoke from unconsciousness of a rest cycle of the human body.

But for some reason an old song from “The Jungle Book” came to mind.

And then I made a comment, if only it were so simple as it was back then..:(
