Prefer flattest route with fewest 2 lane roads and large city traffic bypass/es. Leaving August / September.

Gonna go with @D.Tibbitt on this, you lose me at KC however other than being able to read a paper map, I've not been the rest of the way.

Thanks - saw the st louis "bypass" (64/270/55) and the k. city (70/435/470/70) but am wondering if it's fairly flat and not-so-much traffic around denver if I go from cheyenne to the 70 (80/85/52/79/70) or drop south from 80 to the 70 on a 2-lane?

When you get to St Louis take I-64 to 270 and it will become 255. Then take 55 from there.

Do not go all the way into Salt Lake City, take I 84 to I 80 Junction at Echo. Saves miles and going over Parley.
