The longest detention I can remember was 8 days in Arizona. Everybody from the customer to my company made mistakes. I was carrying what would become an underground telephone and cable room. It was made out of formed concrete and was VERY heavy. I got there and the job foreman shook his head. Long story short my carrier put me up in a hotel near Phoenix and paid me hourly for almost 8 days. Back in those days, I drank, needless to say, I imbibed a bit while I waited!

 

The power is out here since 0800, only half plant has power anyway.
We’re at 9 ft of air space in bin, need 30.

Asked how long, gotta put lift together, and don’t have any parts, the dryer is without power, so that has to be manually restarted, about 45 minutes and then, an hour to get up to temp.
That’s after it’s fixed, maybe late tonight, maybe tomorrow.

I hung my head, just ordered 2 pizzas from domino's.
I’m going to eat, and watch Tubi, and think about my life’s decisions and happier days.

 

I’m not hearing this 8 day fiasco.

 

Gawd bless all of you. I get anxious after 2.5 hours, lol.

 

I meant to share the Sweeeeeet 28 model A I saw yesterday. Only $35000! Lol. It’s nice, but not $35k nice!!
