Just wondering......:dontknow: Why do 4 wheeler drivers loose their minds if a truck happens in to the fast lane when it seems 4 wheelers can't seem to stay out of truck lanes and truck bypasses? Seems to me that if everyone respected what everyone out on the road was doing, be it in a car or truck, road rage, traffic, etc wouldn't be nearly as bad....But then driving would just be boring:biggrin_2554:

In all seriousness, as a four wheeler operator myself, we just do not understand that a house on wheels that you drive can not drive like a Formula 1 race car, or stop on a dime, or take of in an instant, like, say Honda Civic can.

Plus, the movie Duel is the closest we've ever familiarized ourselves with Peterbuilts and Macks so we are intimidated ######## when we see you in the fast lane.

Why is it that car drivers get so mad if a truck has to get out in the passing lane to pass, I mean trucks have just as much of a right ot pass as anyone else.

As soon as you get out in that passing lane they just get irate, flashing the highbeams, pulling over on the shoulder as if they think they are going to intimidate me. I don't give a ####, they can wait their ####### turn, I have a right to pass just as much as you I am not going to hurry up for you or cut the guy off that I am passing just because you want to do 30 miles over the speed.

Truth be told, the idiot rude truck driver is not a myth, they exist, I have seen some. a couple weeks ago I was in my 4 wheeler driving on the interstate traffic was light, I was making my way in the left lane going the posted 70mph, gaining on and gonna pass a semi truck. There was more than enough room behind me for the semi to move into the left lane, but instead he moved in right ahead of me, so that I had to slow down to just below the speed limit so he, going 63mph could pass another truck going 62pmh.
Consider yourself fortunate if you have not ever incounterd the rude idiot truck driver, they are out there amongst the idiot 4 wheel divers.

I have seen the idiots. One was driving a Werner truck on the 190 around Buffalo. He was ON MY BUTT and I told him on the CB in my Ranger that he was too close to the truck in front of him. He thought I was the guy in the truck behind him and asked, "what is he going to do to my truck"? I told him I was in that truck and would end his career in three seconds with a brake stomp if he didn't back off.

Yeah, in encounter them several times a day, rude, inconsiderate, selfish truckers. I will always be considerate to other drivers, if I see that someone is going to need out from behind a slow vehicle I will always let him out even if he doesn't have his blinker on, I am always looking out for other drivers on the road. But I notice more and more drivers who are lost in their own little world and will block me from getting out from behind a slower vehicle or speed up when I put my blinker on, or speed up and try to pass on the right side. No wonder the general public thinks we are a bunch of ########. I guess they don't teach couresy in CDL mills, but it is not only newbies who are idiots, I have encountered my share of older drivers who are just as rude.
