    Hello
This my load home and truck decided to act up today...
My soot level is “good” but when I turned key for ignition all red lights came on and when I started the truck it said automatic shutdown in 120 secs.
I have to do a parked regen BUT
I don’t have the button in the truck for it
In the truck controls I have the option to select parked regen but when I do that it says I’m not allowed. Wtf!

never had this issue before. Once when I had a bad soot level I was able to do a regen no problem but now...

    It’s a 2020 cascadia btw

Engine and exhaust temps have to be at a certain range before it will allow a regen... Many other things also like park brake set, in neutral, clutch not depressed, ECT.

If you tried to regen right after starting the truck then I'd bet the engine and exhaust temperatures are not hot enough yet... Let it warm up for 15 mins or so then try again. This may require restarting the engine a few times if it is wanting to auto shut down sooner. But you can probably override that by driving around for 15 mins... I have yet to see a truck that will auto shut down while in motion.

Well the truck did shut down on me on the interstate I forgot to hit the override button on time lol. There was no one on the interstate at least.
I drove for almost 100 miles and tried park regen and still I’m not allowed. The engine is hot enough tho.
I guess I gotta keep over riding it.

Its shop time. Keep overriding it and your repair bill will get more expensive. Probably have an active fault keeping the system from doing a regen.

You know when I was taking a break after fueling at loves in Fargo I overheard some guys say DEF was contaminated.
And after this is when my problems started
The DEF gauge hasn’t moved a hair yet I got over 1000 miles to get to GA from Wis.

    John E Walker Thanks this.

Have you tried holding the override and regen buttons down for about 10 seconds to see if it will go into a parked regen? That worked for me when I had a similar problem.

    John E Walker Thanks this.

I just don’t have the regen button
    It’s all on the screen
I do have the override button.
When I select regen it then says not allowed

    I’ll try that
At this point I’m running out of solutions
Idk why it’s asking me to regen to begin with with the soot levels are low

    I can’t idle it
after 120 seconds it will shut off
Unless I’m there over riding it every minute for like an hour that it takes or more
