Starting new job in Ops with chemical tank co. Please help me learn what I need to know.

    Have strap sheets for each and every tanker on file and ready to share with driver. I was kicked out of a plant because dispatch didn't fax strap sheet fast enough and I lost my appointment.

    'Calibration chart'; either a cad cam printout of capacity at 1/4 inch intervals -or- a gauged chart from a surveyor company like 'E. F. Saybolt from the pre-cad cam days where they did it with water and a meter...

    Also can be 'innage' = from the bottom up -or- 'outage' = from the top down; a harder chart to use unless the 'strike point' is marked in the dome area giving the point to measure downwards. Double conical trailers sometimes have a strike point to keep you from placing the stick into the sump.

    Figured the term Strapping or strap chart would be vague to the OP.
