If I am away from my truck having coffee or lunch in a restaurant am I considered off duty? Thanks.

FTR, I go on duty as soon as I get to my truck and that’s where it stays (if not driving) until I park it and go home at the end of the day. -

I could log out several times including when I go to the yard , hop in my pickup, and go to a restaurant for lunch. I don't bother because, well, why bother? 4-5 12 hour days a week is plenty for me. I get paid well enough I don't need to be bumping into my clock every week to be comfortable.Last edited: Apr 8, 2021
