Two of the trainers I had at my company did time, it’s not uncommon in the industry. I wouldn’t sweat it!

I'm still crossing my fingers in getting into OD driver training program- I had a good interview with terminal manager already who basically said to send him my license when I get it on the 22nd. For most companies I interview already offer letters can not be sent out before I have my license in hand which makes common sense. So I will be honest with OD about my 25 year old conviction in hopes that they will give me serious consideration at corporate like they claim with a felony conviction when received under 21 years old. Second choice is a food service company which I already just interview also which has a similar training program for new grads - I think they hire felons with a little more (ease) compared to Old dominion.
And yes JB Hunt was one of the first companies I looked into - they have a terminal close to me. They have a strict 3 Month experience policy required coming out of school. One recruiter told me to call him at 2.5 months experience and he'll start my application process with them. So we will see what happens I will keep my options open but for now I will give OD my first choice, food service company 2nd choice. Hopefully one of these 2 will give me a chance with a 15 year 1 job in residential construction management, 10 year clean driving record with a 25 year old felony a fair shake!
