Shaffer reefer trailers over # 83900 have air ride and auto inflate most of the time. I have seen autoinflate trailers on trailers as low # as 83800, but between 838000 and 839000 are a mixed bag. Pretty sure they were testing the auto inflate feature between those numbers.
I am pretty sure there are still a few newer Shaffer trailers out there with spring suspensions, but I think everything over 840000 is 100% air ride and autoair.
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I think Deland is learning not to poke the bear. This weeks idle msg was simply. Your idle was 33%, please watch you idle time....

Honestly, I think the HVAC ECM might be going on this truck. Last week, it couldn't make up it's mind if it wanted to go on comfort mode cool, or comfort mode heat. Today, the sleeper is blowing cold air, and the dash is blowing hot air, all based off of the sleeper temp knob setting... Junk-liner Crapcadias...who needs 'em!!!!!
