Truck had almost no boost ast and was getting egr delta pressure error code. Then it derated. Cleaned egr, didn't help. Replaced egr didn't help still get egr system failure code.

Which part of the EGR did you replace? Sounds like a stuck valve to me. If you replaced the valve it may be the cooler or temp sensor or even a clogged EGR pipe. Try pulling the sensors and using a clean dry toothbrush and rag to get any loose soot off them or out of the holes. Even a little soot buildup in the pipe can do wonky things to the sensor. I know whrn i bought my pete it was throwing EGR codes till i pulled the pipe and cleaned about 2 cups of soot out of it.

Please provide chassis number and a fault code printout.

You are likely seeing an EGR derate on the display. This can be caused by many things. Not just EGR.

It's a paccar mx13. The code actually said egr valve failure detected First we cleaned the egr valve, no change. Then we replaced the egr valve, no change. When hooked back to the computer, the same code still there. That guy thought since the valve is new maybe there's an issue in the wiring somewhere. So wondering what else we need to look at, or a diagram for the wiring, connecters or whatever yo trace that stuff. Thoughts? also getting a vehicle speed sensor error under engine section, but speedo and everything works. Was told this is totally unrelated.

Help me, help you and get me what I asked for.

MX13 does not help me as they have only been in production for the last 15 years and there are 3 different engine variations.

Here's the plate. Couldn't get the code only what it was saying EGR valve failure detected. Cant get the guy to give me the actual code. wouldn't really talk to me cuz you know I'm just a dumb truck driver.

Your engine is an EPA 10 model.

Get me a printout, then we can get a direction to go.
