This radio has performed flawlessly for me. Maybe I accidentally hit a switch or turned the wring know, I dunno. When I do hear something, which is rare, it's a garbled mess. I tested the antenna by connecting my little Uniden and it works fine, except for crapoy range. Are there standard switch settings that I can adjust to determine if it's simply operator error, or do I have a bad radio. The shop where I purchased the radio did the set-up. I should have written down the original know settings for exactly this reason.
