I take it your road service assistant department at Schaefer doesn’t have the ability to override the sensor on their end? I know when I was at Prime and had door open sensor issues, a quick message to Road Assist fixed it. Though, pointless now since you discovered how to do it on your end.

    Farmerbob1 Thanks this.

Neither breakdown nor dispatch know how to do it. (I actually asked, and was told nope) Shame they had to pay an after hours tech for a service call to come back in for 20 seconds of button punching...if I would have thought to look on youtube 1st, woulda saved me several hours and a lot of agrivation. Oh, but wait...us drivers aren't suppose to think for ourselves here at Creafer...that's what they pay the office people to do.

The last one I saw that long had a steerable tag axle in the middle because the frame flexed too much

I am just gonna stop trip planning anything while I am working here. The load out of GA...planned it, had it set up so I could do my best on the next run to MD...but 7.5 hrs of live load torture screwed that up. Then the load yesterday, had it planned so I could get the next load picked up and use a split log to deliver on time...which got screwed up by the door sensor and the snafu with the security sending me to the wrong shipping office. So they removed me from that next preplan this morning and put me on a load out of the Carlisle PA area going to Lansing for Monday. Pick up the only empty trailer from my drop customer this afternoon (DC and MD traffic was horrendous). Get to the Beacon in Carlisle, and wash out the trailer because it is supposed to be a drop and hook...get to the shipper with a wet trailer (I tried to dry it as much as possible running the reefer on a continuous setting)...but, they didn't have an empty to preload, so now it's a live load w/3.5 hrs on my 14...and this area reaks of cow #### so bad, it'll be in my sinuses for days.

Well only if they could do it while on the sofa, at home, watching sportscenter and/or pronhub, in their pajamas.

    Bumper and motocross25 Thank this.
