I tired home for the 34 hours on the weekend and even that feels like you get just enough time home to rush to get back out

Yeah it freaking sucks that many companies don’t give a true 2 days home. One reason that do like being where I’m at overall I just wish pay was higher for me

Yes, i've been told the home weekends lie too. A 34 is not a weekend. I do a reset on road most weekends, even tho i rarely need it and home every other. And that seems to woek well foe me. I have a minimum pay so paychecks dont have a huge flucuation in pay from time off,

1800 gross being lazy. Easy. Not lazy you can do 2000-2800 weekly.

    LTL way to go.

In South Africa we used to get Petes and the odd KW and plenty of Freightliners. Volvo (Although cab overs) is viewed as a much better product. In the countries north of us used imports was the main supply.Thousands of ex Schneider , JB Hunt and many others. Mainly Freightliners since International stopped but Volvo Cabovers out of Europe command huge premiums.
There is a reason for this . Where pragmatism trumps perceived image.
