Sorry but you are wrong. You do not have a clean record. Your MVR may be clear, but the FMCSA requires trucking companies to contact all your previous driving references and I know for a fact Swift will report any accidents they know about. Step one is to obtain your DriverFacts report and see what Swift is telling other trucking companies about you.
Someone above mentioned that it was a mistake to leave Swift. The Swift safety department doesn't have the final say in firing a driver. They do have the final say in hiring a driver. You will not get rehired there with recent accidents.Texas_hwy_287, bentstrider83, slow.rider and 2 others Thank this. -

You will be able to find a driving job..... probably won't pay you close to what Swift did. You need to pay attention and keep yourself Ticket, Incident, Accident and Service Failure free for at least ONE YEAR. If you really want this career, you can extricate yourself from your predicament. When you land a new job........suck it up and deal with whatever they throw your way. DO NOT QUIT YOUR NEXT DRIVING JOB. One more incident....no matter how "minor", could push you out for good. Good luck

Western Express is a second chance company.
Apply, take the job. Stick with it for 12 to 18 months.
Don’t hit or tear up anything. You should be able to move on to a better situation.bentstrider83, bryan21384, slow.rider and 2 others Thank this. -

Did you quit swift or were you fired?
It's on record, that's why nobody will hire you.
White Volvo,
10 truck reefer companies,
Dump trucks,
Cement trucks,
Log trucks,
Any kind of dirt, rocks and gravel,
Owner operator with a couple trucks,
That's just a start.
Sounds like they cut you loose on your own
A little to early.
You need a couple more weeks teaming
With a driver that actually knows what he's doing,
And can show that to you.
You got a class A CDL.
You'll get a job.
You might have to eat dirt for awhile,
But you'll get a paycheck somewhere.
I had to do it myself years ago.
It still paid better than construction work
Or the 12 bucks an hour at the factory.
Get out and look, should be in your head
All the time while maneuvering in tight spaces.
Don't let the other trucks rush you.
They can wait.bentstrider83, bryan21384, slow.rider and 1 other person Thank this.
