@Lysdexis - (#1) Get some algicide in your tanks based on what you found during filter change. (#2) Put a fuel/water separator on the primary. CAT 256-8753 and they also make a filter head with radiused inlet and outlet ports instead of the square edge ports found on Fleetguard head that will flow much better and actually meet CAT specs. Remember, OEM put primary filter base on and they couldn’t care less about engine specs. Absolutely no need to put ball valves on your fuel lines to replace filters. Pre-fill, spin-on and hit the skinny pedal. If you're worried about oil psi, do the oil filter then start engine and then do fuel filters. And buy the hand primer pump yesterday for peace of mind. (#3) White smoke at start-up could be an injector or head gasket, especially if you have the saw cut head. It will blow it at the fire ring and cause white smoke until it warms up enough to seal compression fully.

Unloaded the steel this morning. Reloaded reclaimed lumber from a whisky storage (18,000 barrels in there). Got it dumped off and empty. Eating at the Dixie family restaurant on 55 in Illinois.

2. Has fuel water separator on frame now and cat filter on engine. Needs shut off valve or some kind of check valve on feed before filter because once filter is loose it will suck air in and drain hose from filter base to tank and will not start again unless air is sucked/pumped out. Will order primer pump to keep in side box until needed asap.
3. Smells strongly of fuel. Talked to another member and have determined my fuel pressure is too high and I've got some Jerry rigged second check valve in the return line that is likely causing a restriction. This is likely making an injector o ring leak until it warms up. Fuel pressure was 90-95ish at idle.
Have no pressure in the cooling system to suggest head gasket issuebeastr123, PoleCrusher, Eldiablo and 2 others Thank this. -
