The guy was in stopped traffic, decided to go into opposing traffic, then make a left while pedestrians are in the crosswalk. Guy broke a couple three laws before any confrontation began.

First choice is don’t go.
Second choice is find a detour.
Third choice is stop at first sign of trouble and call cops.
Fourth choice, keep enough forward speed to prevent them from getting on truck.
Fifth choice if you got to this guys scenario is put it in granny low and ease up to that Van then start pushing and grabbing gears. No good answer. Best answer is for the city and local governments to do their job and keep domestic terrorists like these in check. Let em protest, but the minute they impede an innocent bystanders progress they’re wrong

 

We must realize there are two sets of rules in America today.

For us OTR we just drive through the cities and mostly stop on the outskirts.
