It's a guarantee 85k your first year on extra board. Im nervous it's gonna be way less money. The stress of leaving my son keeps me awake at night. I hope the money is close....I'm literally just so stressed out.

Just take it all in stride. Focus on the job and don't get distracted. It will all work itself out.

I wish I could have that mindset. But I literally can't focus on anything right now. Idk how I'm going to stay awake tonight. So in stressed about that. I'm stressed about leaving. Idk anymore. .

It'll get better. There's always an adjustment period. Best to not dwell on what you can't control. You'll sleep good tomorrow lol. The jitters will pass in a short period of time. Estes knows your new to the game and they won't throw you to the wolves.

A better schedule and better conditions always outweighs a few extra dollars per paycheck IMHO.

No I know a few guys that do. I've done the ltl thing for most of my driving career. Now that my boys are young men I'm really only into working days. Did nights for the better part of 15 years. Finally reaching the independence of not having younger kids so I have more flexibility in what I want in schedule and income to a degree than I did before.

He’s talking about Z- board.. two layovers and a turn on Friday. You’d leave out Monday and be back Wednesday morning. Leave again Wednesday night and be back Friday morning then just do a turn Friday night and be back Saturday morning.
