Agreed. If they want their shelves to be full when they get to the store, then a couple of minutes won't kill em

That’s not hard, delivered at tufts a few times and actually have a truck going there sometime this week.

What sucks is you get there and they have cars on both sides of the drive and can’t get into the dock at all, waiting for security to move the cars can take an hour.

There is a set of docks a few blocks way that is almost impossible to get into, I have my driver deliver with a little transfer truck because getting even a 40’ into that dock isn’t going to be easy.

oh by the way I hate Boston.

My co driver loved Boston. She couldn’t stop looking all around at everything. And lots of doggies! Intelligent life forms in the city! Yes!
    It was fun!

I was in Boston with my wife 20 years ago on vacation in a rental car, and even then I couldn't get over how narrow the streets were. Can't imagine delivering there frequently with a 53 footer.

When I did blanket wrap freight for North American Van Lines, places like that were normal. Delivering office and store fixtures to place that usually never saw a sleeper truck, much less a 53' trailer. I got pretty good at backing working there.

Hey, if it was easy, then it wouldn't pay so good. ;)

Actually.... besides my mileage pay. I re powered this out of Hershey Penn. Owner of my company gave me a $300 bonus for saving the delivery.

    It wasn’t blind side.
I am pretty good at blind side. Had a regular in my first job with a blind side. Lots of practice.
It was tough enough. With only a certain opening in the median.
Guys there to unload were great. Directed me to come around for best approach. Then blocked traffic for me. They were great.
