So I enjoy my current job but recently found out it has an expiration date for reasons outside my control.

It’s time to start looking for my next “home”

how much money do I need to have saved up roughly?
I’m assuming USA truck handles any load delays?
And the lease company will handle repairs based on contract?

does USA truck do in house leasing or do I need a third party company?

Anyone know of a good leasing agency with no credit check other then for repos or evictions? (Credit is not great but OK not the point tho)

I would think that if you lease a truck through USA Truck that repairs will be on you. There are a lot of horror stories here on TTR about that kind of lease. Any reason why USA Truck. Not saying there is anything wrong with them, but if your record is good there are other options. And best to stay a company driver until you can save enough money to buy a truck if being an O/O is your goal.

USA Truck has a self-dispatch program; choose your loads.

I don’t want to OWN a truck, just pretend like I do for a little while.

Don’t really want to make a career out of trucking. Just need a year or two more while I finish school.

USA truck because I’ve heard a few positive experiences with them, and I know it’s not forced dispatch and you pick your loads.
Not interested in leasing a truck only to be TOLD what I’m going to do.

I am considering other options but it’s gonna be one of the two I’ve got in my head.

Why not let's look at the numbers a new 2022 frieghtliner cascadia goes for about 152744 ...at the dealer I can lease a new frieghtliner cascadia at TEL leasing at 670 aweek for 48 months it works out to 139360 plus 47k buy out at the end of the lease ...only difference is what interests rate you pay at the slimy dealership

Is it an optional buy out or the mandatory end balloon payment?

Option to buy its 47k balloon pay ment I think it works out 180k for the truck and you can move to another company there is a fee I think its 10k and a 650 credit score iam not keeping mine iam giving it back with in a yr take. 08 × 500k I think its 40 k so set aside 8cpm mile for your balloon payment rember it's not a walk away lease
