Terrible shippers/receivers for reefers

    You know..I was gonna post hunts point deliveries. And all produce markets in big cities..but honestly now I'm kinda used to the experience. And the loads pay great.
    Bashas in az is terrible. And lucca in NJ is the absolute worst...

    I have yet to find a shipper or receiver that was prompt. 4 plus hours seems to be the norm.

    That seems to be the norm for Americold everywhere. I went to the one in Stockton CA twice and both times it took 6+ hours. I refuse to go to one of their facilities ever again.

    My longest was Shamrock Foods near Phoenix. It was an Uber load and I spent over 12 hours there, and Uber refused my detention request. That was my last Shamrock delivery, and my last Uber load.

    Any place that deals in chicken. Even worse if it's cross border chicken. I will ####ing walk if I ever see another one. Can I get an Amen?

    As a company driver, usually yes. As an owner operator, usually no. I own a reefer and only run chilled loads about half the time. The rest is all dry van loads.
