I may have dropped more than a couple in parking spaces just to go over and get fuel. Some of those pumps are pretty wide and some aren't. When you get north of 15' why even chance it over a few minutes of work?

Was in a Pilot years ago fueling up when an oversized boat hauler drove thru a fuel island...and when I say drove thru it, I mean the boat moved the top of the fuel pumps like a wave, and it also clipped one of the big square poles holding the canopy, then just kept going. Thankfully the pole was tougher than the boat and the canopy didn't come down on us all. I bet his boss, their customer and their insurance weren't too happy when he got where he was going.Lumper Humper and Speed_Drums Thank this. -
