As long as i could stand. I usually like being out 2 to 3 weeks. But keep in mind that is BEFORE taxes as i said. After $900-1400 was my takehome usually after insurance and such. average was around $1150 a week over a year.

No problem and keep in mind i said MAY have team gigs. I am not 100% on that and dont want to put words in their mouths. I just know we do a lot of cross country loads and have about a half dozen trucks in need of a driver.

For what it’s worth I’ve NEVER heard a bad thing about Bones. Whether it be the work atmosphere or the people in the office.

Yeah I know. But it would be worth calling them and talkin to them. The most they could say is they don't have anything for teams. So they will be on my list for when my broken arm is all done and over with.

I parked beside one of their O/O's a few weeks back and noticed he had a set of chains slung up under his trailer, it's not everyday, actually the first time I've ever seen a dump wagon toting chains, tells me that fella' goes wherever the money is. There was a long time poster on here some years back that pulled for them, I think he went by "blade".

How’s everyone doin this week? And by everyone I guess I mean @Arctic_fox and @Trashtrucker1707 and @Professor No-Name
We hooked on to 40’ spread axles and are hauling auto fluff to the landfill. Again. And it sucks. Again. If we don’t tip a trailer in there this week it will be a miracle. Monday was interesting. We loaded fill sand for the concrete plant in KCMO and the loader lost count of buckets. I was sitting in soft sand and couldn’t get a good read on my gauges. I figured I was a little heavy, but whatever. Got on the scale and had 42 ton loaded. It was commercial zone so I took it but my hoist wouldn’t get it up all the way and it made some interesting noises getting it that far. I had to keep raising up to get some to come out, set it down, pull away and raise up some more to let enough come out for it to lift fully. @Arctic_fox i saw your other thread you started about your after treatment issues dude and I can’t offer any advice on what it could be. I’m sorry about your luck man that sucks.

Ya gotta definitely be careful when trying to put to much weight up. I've seen pics of a snapped cylinder laying across the roof of a day cab. It wasn't perty. The kid was laid up for quite awhile after that. Anyhoo we made it back from Arizona. Dropped an brought a load back to new century ks.

@motocross25 Thats how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Seems my "brilliant" plan of getting a used low mile still warrantied truck has backfired pretty badly. Hopefully they can figure this #### out soon. I am broke with a capitial "where the hell did my ENTIRE 5 digit oh crap fund go" lol. Ah well if i make it through this im putting either a kitty if i can find a 3406E or C15 and barring that a detroit in the second i have the funds. After my experince with paccrap im willing to give detroit another try....how much worse could it be?

As for scrap yup we do a large amount. I just did a huge copper load and had my truck not blown up again i was likely going to do shreds again soonish. Though the scrap we do is 99% loose material like zorba, shreds, and other simular things. Only ever done a half dozen really nasty bulk scrap loads and those were all winter "this or deadhead 500 miles" situations. Though my crappy old lease trailer cant barn door so i can skip a lot of the scrap. Which is a mixed blessing.
