Is this another "to sue or not to sue" thread?
How can someone ask for "legal advice", yet no disclose the subject for what the advice is about.

You got great suggestions on where to find a lawyer.
Here's one for how NOT to find one..
Non-lawyer forums.
If one is need of a lawyer one must ask one self these things if he/she can't find one to take their case.
1. Is the case winnable? If lawyers keep turning it down, might be it isn't. Why waste time if it's a losing fight when they can focus on cases they know they can
win?
2. Is said lawyer needing person asking the right kind of lawyer. A criminal lawyer probably won't be much help in a workman's comp case. Nor will a Workman's comp lawyer be much help if you need to deal with the IRS.
While I'm not a lawyer, nor do I pretend to be one, I've been told by a few it's not a good thing to go discussing your case all over the internet. The other side can google things to.
That said...
Good luck with your case. Injured on the job sucks, sucks even more so if the company doesn't take care of said worker. Not knowing details, nor wanting to(see that part about plastering the internet with your case) I can only go by what I know that the OP has shared. Should he post more info, I reserve the right to change my stance and assume everyone involved is an idiot and I'm the only rocket scientist genius who rides a unicorn that farts lucky charms.
This advice is freely given as I'm not a lawyer, nor a pretend one, but if I was one this would have cost you a ton of money you would never be able to afford and we'd be in court for the next 30 years.

Usually if you pay a lawyer up front they will work for you. But since you were hurt on the job why not start with a work comp claim and go from there?

Ya, from what you said, you need a workmans comp lawyer, not a ooida trucker lawyer. Now the real question is, are you going to keep this thread going and report updates?
