I've been here at the end of September and the water was still swimmable.
The campground is absolutely stunning. Roads treated for dust. Positive ventilated outhouses. When you sit on the loo the wind goes down the toilet, zero smell. Every site has power so no generator racket.
It's not my cup of tea. But it's quiet, nice and easy during the fringe season when the masses are not here.
Planning on coming up here with the boat for 3 or 4 days in the summer to try it out.

Driving on 36 was made more interesting looking for friday.

Friday's got a sore leg. Gettin new drives.

 

Oh I forgot to mention. Learned a few things today. Ran through WV. Heard a guy, I think talking to his lawyer, asking about his divorce. They seem to have more to deal with in that state than others. He needed to know if after the divorce. Would his ex-wife still be his sister.
After that, I ran through KY. Man, have you every tried their jelly? It isn't at all good. Almost tasted like I had put Vaseline on my toast.

But on the good news. That steak turned out perfect. Sorry no "done" pics. Started eating it before I thought to share.

 

Nice new shoes too. We have 2 units running those. I rotate yearly so nice even wear. They dry rot before they wear out. Awesome in the snow and ice.

 

Yeah I run the one set duals low on air so had to fork out sooner than I wanted to. Cussin slow leak.
