    Hi There,

Im a firefighter interested in starting a potable water trucking business. Can you tell me a company in the USA where I can buy a SS steel tank to go on a peterbilt truck?

Any help or advice is much appreciated

Boston Tank specializes in tanks for straight trucks, if you're thinking of going that route.

Just curious,if your planning to service fire camps. When I was a wildland ff some of the older guys wanted to buy a tanker when they retired. To my knowledge none ever did.

Can you use a plastic tank? Or is that gaurenteed to have odor? Plastic is way cheaper than SS.

Where do you live? Does the tank have to be new or would a used one in good shape be acceptable? Is the 3500 gallon an absolute limit or will you take a 4000 gallon tank?

I live in Northern California. Used in good condition would be fine assuming it fit the truck
