What a piss off. Get to the bike park and its a sloppy mess. Still water running down the single track and the jump park was closed. The obstacle course area was covered with 4 year olds climbing all over it. Its a bike area not a playground FFS. Dang parents.

No hard riding + muddy bike and muddy clothes just doesn't appeal to me. The odd bit of mud now and then isn't a big deal but when its an inch of snot all the way down the hill its just not worth it.Last edited: May 9, 2021

I left the state in 2000 and never gave going back a second thought, even though I have a lot of friends there and love where I grew up. Only moved to where I'm at in Oregon to be close to my old man since he moved here (from CA) when he retired.
The wife and I are thinking about moving in the next few years though. She wants to go back to Knoxville, where she grew up and I'm not exactly putting up a fight to stay here. -
I read an interesting article a while back. It was saying that it is much more common for Americans to move across the country than it is for Canadians. I couldn't fathom just packing up and moving to Ontario or Nova Scotia. Hell I can't even see myself moving back to BC lol.

The pandemic has changed many things throughout the world... and time will tell what is going to be within a year or two or more...
I was planning on leaving Brasil "forever"... but now I am considering coming back to Brasil.... but everything is up in the air considering future events...
Wish I had a crystal ball...
Not having any meaningful point of reference, no family, no siblings, no children, no home, no nothing... I don't know where to go... a tropical place seems good, among other things... but I must make a living and things seem to become more "difficult" as I age. After some research and considerations, it doesn't seem that "cheap" to live abroad on a small income, even in Brasil... there are taxes to be paid, sometimes in both countries, depending on each person's situation... and - may God "forbid" - if I become disable or need a lot of medical attention, I must have means to take care of that myself...
I have a lot of thinking and praying and researching and "studying" and considering to do this year... actually have been doing this for a loooong time... to decide where my next 5 years or how much time I have ahead to live will be...
Good luck with your decisions... I truly hope all works out very well for you...Last edited: May 9, 2021

I ended up being able to fix mine. Had a broken wire under the skirt. I've got someone willing to buy my meritor when I finally swap to an 18 speed. Just gotta find the money and trans to do it.DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this. -
Galanz has a 3 in 1air fryer, convection oven, microwave. The microwave is 900 watts but must have a peak over 1500. Because it trips my inverter. I'll be upgrading to a 3k watt. But the fryer and oven work great. Walmart has them for roughly 110.

A general rule of thumb on peak power requirements, is to double the appliance's listed power requirements. So your 900W microwave should have a peak draw around 1800W. Generally, inverters have a peak output that is double the continuous. The peak output is just a capacitor that stores juice for start up of a load.
