Hello friends,
I have a Kenworth t800 which has a Cummins isx engine.
I opened the cap and noticed there were droplets of water around the rim from where I would pour engine oil into my engine. Is there something to be worried about? What seems thr be the problem? Please let me know thanks.

Immediate oil sample, you could have caught a failure before its catastrophic, or you may have just added some oil where it was humid or raining.
Either way, an oil sample is cheap peace of mind -
Or another driver in the next fuel island may have showered your eng. as you were getting oil to add when the fill cap was off? If you have any thing hi/er up than fill cap that you can pull off and ck for water or white oil on it may give you a better idea of how much water could be in the oil, but oil sample is best done quick !

All crankcases build some condensation in the vapors.
The oil cap is a good place for it to condense from vapor to water droplets.
Sometimes it is an emulsion of oil and water vapor that appears as a light yellow slime in the nooks and crevices of the cap/fill area.
The new car that does not 'use' oil between changes is being topped up by condensation as every engine has some oil flash off on every piston stroke. -
